Photos on the iPhone are a mess. They are either in the big Camera Roll
or Photo Library list or at best organized in a few albums. For the
minority that synchs with iPhoto for mac, the integration with Faces is
inaccurate and cumbersome to use,and most of us have a PC or don't synch
the phone to a computer!
Photo Library+ lets you organize your photos by Person and Labels (i.e skiing, surfing, cooking etc.).
Photos are organized while tagging people directly on the picture,
similar to how it’s done on Facebook. The list of people is
automatically updated and populated in the process. While this is a good
way to tag the latest pictures there is a better way to tag a long
list. The Quick Tag feature allows users to look through a list of
photos and tag a person just by tapping the thumbnail. Users can go
through 1000 pictures in just a couple of minutes. For each person,
there is a list of all Pictures that include them, a Favorites list and a
Together with you list that shows all the pictures in which you are
both tagged.
Labels allow further organization. Pictures can have multiple labels,
i.e. Skiing, Vacations, creating a perfectly customized photo
organization system without having a photo locked in a single folder
type structure.
Every Monday users can pick their Picture of the Week. This is the
single best photo that was taken during the previous week with their
iPhone or iPod. The picture is then arranged in a fun newspaper format
to be shared by email or social network.
